Storytime
Infant Summer Storytime for children birth through 18 months from 11:15 to 11:35 a.m., May 28th

Worms - Dig into Reading, Summer Reading Program
Come learn about worms and help to make a home for the worms that will be the mascots of our program on May 29th from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Teen Film
Teens join us at 4:00 p.m., on May 29th for a movie where a scientist, his nephew and their mountain guide discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth.

Summer Reading Signup 2013

The countdown begins for Summer Reading 2013. Sign up starts on Monday, May 20!

Kids birth to those entering 6th grade wil be "Digging into Reading". Teens entering the 7th - 12th grade will look "Beneath the Surface". And adults will have some "Groundbreaking Reads"

Dig into Reading Kickoff

The summer reading program begins on May 27th, but the fun begins sooner!

Come to the summer reading kickoff on May 23!

Who:  Kids 0-12 and their parents

When:  Thursday, May 23 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

What:  Stories, snacks, crafts and fun.  You’ll be able to sign up for the summer reading program and learn about all of the special programs.

Free Comic Book Day

The Liberal Memorial Library will be celebrating Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Along with free comic books (while supplies last), there will be door prizes, special drawings and giveaways. Prizes will include graphic novels, special edition comic books and much more.

The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Also check out our Facebook page and enter the Iron Man trivia contest. Answer all the questions correctly and you'll be eligible to win an Iron Man graphic novel.
