Over the noon hour, grab your lunch and join us for a book discussion of One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the January pick of the month. Come join us on Tuesday, January 12 at noon.

Young people who came out for our third annual gingerbread house decorating event on Saturday, December 12, had a fun time applying their creativity to the project. There were cheerful voices and radiant countenances as each concentrated on their individual house. Check out photos on our website.

Kansas Reads to Preschoolers about Fitness

A total of 472 Liberal preschoolers heard the selected story, Wiggle by Doreen Cronin, for the Fifth Annual Kansas Reads to Preschoolers. Check out our website slideshow for a glimpse of the fun time we had!

Gingerbread Houses in the Land of Oz

Join us here at the library on Saturday, December 12, at 10 a.m. as we hear Christmas stories by the Dorothys and decorate our own houses. Children ages 4 through 11 are welcome, but reservations ARE necessary. Phone the library to reserve your spot (626-0180, ext 4) or stop by the children's desk when you are in the library.
